How cool and what a gift! A good story is a good story, although the approach might change a little. How awesome to have something vintage like this. Like you said there is always something to learn by looking at the past. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for telling us about the writing programs. They all look worthwhile. I should consider taking one of those courses next year.

Definitely wait for a lull in your publishing schedule, if taking the scheduled classes because they were more rigorous as far as the time commitment entailed, but we’ll worth it.

I was gifted a set of 1950s vintage Famous Writers School set of five books on writing a novel, plot. Dialogs, character development, etc. They came from a 90 year old friend who used them in the 50s. The books are interesting, especially her notes in the margins. They have nothing about today's Deep POV. I'm a history major so looking at how the approach to writing a novel changes but stays the same is fascinating.
